Born in Connecticut and based in Brooklyn, indie pop artist and producer Birch is switching gears, and we’re reveling in her musical evolution.

Fresh off the release of her debut album femme.one, which dropped in April, Birch is marking a new chapter in her career with a sparkling sound and empowering message as heard on her recently released single “Your Gold.”

With a title inspired by the Gold Rush, and the hope of building a prosperous future that was shared by millions during that time, the shimmering anthem encourages listeners to be true to who they are as they work to create the life they imagine for themselves. Whereas those who were involved in the Gold Rush shared a common dream, Birch emphasizes the importance of having personal goals and visions by sharing her own journey in making her dreams come true. After questioning her ability to achieve her goals, she found strength in making the decision to follow her own path instead of falling in with the crowd.
