IMRI will represent Israel this year in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "I Feel Alive."

Penned by Dolev Ram and Penn Hazut, writers of Israel's 2015 Gay Pride Parade anthem, "I Feel Alive" pays tribute to IMRI's journey to success and not giving up along the way. An energetic, upbeat, dance-pop hit, it's laced with sonic elements that pay tribute to his homeland.

The 25-year-old Israeli actor and singer, who sings in three languages (Hebrew, English, and Spanish), was born and raised near Tel Aviv and has participated in Eurovision twice before as a backup singer, once for Nadav Guedj in 2015 and again for Hovi in 2016. He is currently a bachelor's degree student.

Israel competes in the second semi-final on May 11.
