Julianna Laine Explores Mental Health + Friendship in New Single "Where Did All My Friends Go"

Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer Julianna Laine has hit us right in the feels with her insightful perspective on contemporary relationships.

Following the release of her debut single “Eighteen,” Laine recently dropped her latest single “Where Did All My Friends Go.” At first listen, the song is a fun, infectious bop, oozing with the dreamy shimmer of bedroom pop, but upon further play, it reveals itself to be an important commentary on mental health and modern friendships.

“These days, especially with social distancing there can be a weird dynamic of not knowing what your friends are thinking,” explains Laine. “It’s easy to judge at the surface level, but you never know what someone else might be feeling.”

Through the end of July, all proceeds from the download and stream of the single will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association
