EXES Drop Nostalgic New Single "Bones Break"

Bi-coastal indie-pop duo EXES is back!

Comprising vocalist Allie McDonald and producer Mike Derenzo, the pair recently released their new single "Bones Break," the first off their upcoming project Before You Go.

A nostalgic tale of heartbreak, "Bones Break" is dreamy, pop-driven, and totally easy to listen to, whisking listeners away into a contemplative state, lamenting what used to be. "For this track, we collaborated with our drummer Peter Martin," they explained. "Inspired by the constant movement of the snare drum in Dave Matthews' 'Crash Into Me' [after a viewing of Ladybird] we set out to make a contemporary version of songs we loved as teenagers. Taking in influences from Dave Matthews to Death Cab for Cutie, we tinkered away until we created 'Bones Break'."

Listen to "Bones Break" below and look out for Before You Go on October 5.
