Dearly Tells Us 3 Things to Know About Her New Single "Get With You Alone"

Dearly is an artist to keep an eye on.

Previously known as Amanda Jones, the 23-year-old indie pop artist just released her new single "Get With You Alone" last month (her first under her new moniker), and she shared three things about the song that listeners have to know. Check out what she told us!

1. It's an indie pop jam: "Get With You Alone" is a perfect for summer, vibey indie pop song, that makes you want to tap your foot and get down.

2. The recording process was simple yet challenging: since this was the first song I fully recorded for my new project, it felt really organic but was mentally/physically draining to record. I hadn't recorded anything for two years prior to this, so it was me jumping back into music full force - but overall it went really well!

3. Behind the scenes cat: During the recording process, we were interrupted a few times by a cat that lived where I was recording - eventually he stopped meowing/getting in the way, but it just made me laugh! This kinda stuff always happens to me.
