The Bulgarian artist, who was born into post-communist Eastern Europe, released her anticipated sophomore album Confidence. Truth on March 30. Soulful, jazzy, and penetrating right through to the heart, the personal 10-track collection finds Koleva joined by Ron Avant (Anderson .Paak) on keys, Jameel Bruuner (The Internet) on synths, and Gene Coye (Flying Lotus) on drums, in addition to the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra.
Ranging from the confessional to the euphoric, each of the tracks featured on Confidence. Truth demonstrates Koleva's artistic and personal growth, revealing her courageous spirit while also claiming her stake in the present as she confronts her demons and rediscovers herself.
