The Naive Releases New Music Video "The Moon"
/Canadian band The Naive has created quite an eclectic brand of pop that will draw you in with its experimental vibe.
Lead by Sintja Baba, the band also comprises bassist Alex Lakusta, guitarist Brandon Wall, and drummer Stefan Hegerat. "As a collective, I feel like if there was a machine where I could play what’s in my head, they do it better,” Sintja says. “They’re all highly intuitive and tasteful musicians. I never felt like I had to give much direction. In fact, I felt as if they’ve led me in a way, by aiding me in developing the songs. I give them a skeleton, and they make it dance."
Today The Naive releases their new music video for “The Moon,” a track off their debut EP Saw the Sun. Filmed in downtown Toronto, the video, which was directed by singer-songwriter Marlon Chaplin, follows Sintja over the course of one night as she makes her way through the city’s streets, stopping at a few bars along the way.
