Catch the AMAs Next Tuesday, October 9, on ABC!

Get ready! The American Music Awards are back at 8/7c on Tuesday, October 9th on ABC.

Actress, model, comedian, and director supreme Tracie Ellis Ross will host for a second year in a row.

Performers this year include a list of artists ranging from Mariah Carey, Benny Blanco, Ciara, and Missy Elliot, to a tribute to Aretha Franklin by Gladys Knight.

This year’s nominees are as exciting as they are diverse. Drake and Cardi B lead the nominations with eight each, followed by Post Malone and Ed Sheeran with six and finally, Camila Cabello, who could win her first AMA ever with New Artist of the Year, with five.

Drake, who along with all the other nominees have had an amazing year in music, is up against Imagine Dragons, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift for Artist of the Year.

Every nomination is based on fan interactions (data collected from streaming, album and digital song sales, radio airplay, social activity and touring). These fan interactions are observed from September 15, 2017 to August 9, 2018. All winners are decided by fans via billboard.com/amas.
