New Video from London's Crystal Fighters: "Lay Low"

London-based band Crystal Fighters have just released a beautiful new video for their song "Lay Low."

The video, directed by Wayne McCauslin, was made in Berlin using stop motion, puppets, and hand-made miniature sets. It perfectly compliments the song, which has an amazing message. "This song is about looking after your friends and family," the band said. "[I]t's about taking the time to try and leave a positive impact on earth everyday, as if it's your last. It's about remembering to hug and high five your friends every time you see them, and to take the time to appreciate every moment we are given here on this beautiful planet. With this song we pay homage to the miracle of the known, the mystery of the unknown, and our limited time within it."

"Lay Low" is featured on Crystal Fighters' 2016 album Everything Is My Family and was inspired by the death of the band's drummer, Andrea Marongiu. About Marongiu, the band stated: "Andrea brought Crystal Fighters alive when he joined the family with his phenomenally skillful drumming, and immeasurably lifted the spirit of the band, and whoever crossed his path, as one of the kindest and most charismatic gentlemen out there."

The three-piece band recently announced their U.S. tour dates, which begin this spring. Check them out at crystalfighters.com.
