Ozuna Partners with YouTube to Share Documentary About His Career "Música sin Fronteras"

Ozuna's recent rise to fame has been nothing short of amazing. Experiencing a break out year in 2016, the Puerto Rico-born reggaeton and Latin trap artist dropped his highly anticipated debut album Odisea earlier this year. At the time the album released, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, he also simultaneously had eight singles on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart.

On Thursday, the 25-year-old released a documentary titled "Música sin Fronteras." Produced by YouTube, the short film gives fans an intimate glimpse into Ozuna's artistic development and how he transitioned from performing at local talent shows to the biggest stages in the world. It also shows some behind-the-scenes footage of his rehearsals for his first major show on his native island in September, which took place only a few days before Hurricane Maria hit.

"YouTube is a universal platform that allows me to reach people in Japan, China or Egypt, countries that I would never be able to reach otherwise," he said about his collaboration with the platform. "It's the most important platform to reach the entire world."

Ozuna currently has a whopping 8.3 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, and that number continues to grow by the tens of thousands every day. He has topped the global YouTube Artists chart for the past three weeks and is the first Latin artist for which YouTube has produced such a documentary.
