Johann Vera Debuts First Single "Pretty Girl (Tu Canción)"

As a contestant on the first season of Univision's reality competition show La Banda, Johann Vera garnered glowing praise from coaches and audiences alike.

Although he didn't make it as one of the members of the show's winning band, CNCO, the 20-year-old Ecuatorian singer, dancer, actor, and YouTube star is launching his solo career with a hot new debut single that has left his fans wanting more.

Released on August 5, the single hit No. 6 on iTunes in the first day of its release, while the video has already accumulated over 150,000 views in just 5 days.

Johann will open the Quito show for his former judge Laura Pausini on August 28 as part of her Similares Latin America tour. He's also planning an EP to be released later this year.
