5 Spanglish Songs for Your Summer Playlist

The official start of the summer is almost here, and we’re in the mood for some tunes that bring bright sunshiny vibes. Here are 5 of our favorite Spanglish songs that we’re going to have on our playlist for the whole season (and maybe even the rest of the year).

5. “Tengo Tu Love [Spanglish Remix feat. Taboo]”-Sie7e

Why We Picked It: Sie7e quietly stands out in the world of música latina with his relaxed, easygoing style. The Spanglish remix of this sweet love song is beach ready without a doubt.

4. “Vida”-Ricky Martin

Why We Picked It: Recorded for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and released on the album One Love, One Rhythm-The 2014 FIFA World Cup Official Album, this vibrant track was a fantastic hit last year. And the music video takes place on the beach. Hello summer!

(Also available in Spanish and Portuguese)

3. “Bebé Bonita”-Chino & Nacho feat. Jay Sean

Why We Picked It: Chino & Nacho are on fire right now with their recent hit “Me Voy Enamorando (Remix)” featuring Farruko, so we thought it would be appropriate to feature them on this list. From their album Supremo, “Bebé Bonita” features British singer Jay Sean on the catchy chorus. Se siente bieeeenn…

2. “Suga Suga”-Miguelito feat. Shawn Stockman

Why We Picked It: Yes, it is Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men on this track. How awesome is that? Call us nostalgic, but we love us some Boyz II Men and we never imagined one of them would do a collab like this. And we love it! A fresh remake of the 1969 hit “Sugar Sugar” from The Archies, “Suga Suga” will have you wishing it were summer all year long.

1. “My Corazón”-Angel y Khriz

Why We Picked It: We’ve already mentioned this awesome song from Puerto Rican duo Angel y Khriz in a previous post. We love it so much that we had to feature it here too. Just the beat of this song alone makes us want to feel the sun on our faces and the sand between our toes. It’s safe to say that we’re addicted to this song. We bet you will be too, that is if you’re not already!
