Top Pick: Italian Album of the Year (So Far)

Although Marco Mengoni has consistently been at the top of the Italian charts since winning his country's edition of X Factor in 2009, we've only just discovered him here at Musical Notes Global. And we are so glad we did. With that said, we chose his third studio album Parole in Circolo as our top Italian album of the year (so far). Released on January 13, the album has recently been certified double platinum in Italia, with the lead single "Guerriero" also certified double platinum.

Why We Love It: As we learned more about Mengoni, we found out how important it is to him to spread a positive message to his listeners through his songs. With all the negativity that surrounds us each day, positive vibes are forever welcome, especially coming from him.
