Bunbury Adds New Flair to Diamante Eléctrico's "Hacia la Noche"

Colombian trio Diamante Eléctrico has been bringing their captivating, unorthodox alt-rock around the world since 2013.

This past Friday the band released “Hacia la Noche,” the third single from their upcoming album BUITRES & CO., a new edition of their highly acclaimed 2018 album BUITRES. In order to revitalize the already enthralling collection and bring it to the next level, the trio called on the participation of accomplished guest artists such as Alison Mosshart (The Kills & The Dead Weather) and Francisca Valenzuela, who will lend their unique perspectives to the songs included on the original album.

Featuring the collaboration of Spanish rock icon Enrique Bunbury, the new version of the band’s hit song “Hacia la Noche” connects listeners with the excitement and freedom of the night, liberating the spirit through a sensual blend of rhythms. “Hacia la Noche is a devotional song,” Diamante Eléctrico’s vocalist and bassist Juan Galeano explains. “A song that brings us to the darkest sides of the night, where the best things happen, where we can really let go. It is also an encounter with the most rhythmic part of Diamante.”

Over the course of their six years together, the Bogotá-based rockers have performed at more than 250 international shows and festivals, including Coachella, Rock al Parque, Vive Latino, and many more, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as the Foo Fighters and the Rolling Stones. They also won the Latin Grammy for “Best Rock Album” twice in three years, once in 2015 for their album B and again in 2017 for their album La Gran Oscilación.

Diamante Eléctrico is currently on tour and will make their next stop in Bogotá, Colombia at EQ Music Fest before making their way to the United States in October, where they will perform at the annual music festival Austin City Limits for the first time.
