If you didn't catch the MTV VMAs live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday night, then you surely missed out.

Colombian superstar Maluma made his VMAs debut, and he impressed while he made history at the same time. Demonstrating the widespread influence and popularity of Latin music today, Maluma became the first artist to put on a solo performance entirely in Spanish.

“Performing at the VMAs was a dream come true. It was surreal to perform at the legendary Radio City Music Hall and make music history with other artists I admire,” he said.  “I grew up watching the VMAs in Colombia and I was proud to have the honor to represent who I am; where I come from and my culture at such an important event.”

The 24-year-old heartthrob performed one of his biggest hits, "Felices Los 4," which he was nominated for in the Best Latin Video category along "Chantaje," his collaboration with Shakira.
