Listen to Victoria La Mala's Empowering New Single "Merezco Mucho Más"
/Regional Mexican singer Victoria La Mala has released a new single, and it couldn't have come at a better time.
"Merezco Mucho Más" is empowering and fierce. Produced by Luciano Luna, who is known for his work with other artists in the Regional Mexican genre including Banda El Recodo and Julión Álvarez, the song shares the story of a woman who realizes that she deserves much more from a romantic relationship and learns to leave behind those who don't meet her high standards.
"At this time in which the Times Up movement is an important reflection of the strength and empowerment of women, it was important for me to have a song to convey that message," Victoria said about the track. "We have to defend ourselves and we can't settle for less than what we deserve."
La Mala also just ran her fourth annual #TeamMalaPromGiveaway initiative to help girls in the Los Angeles area bring their prom dreams to life. Details here.
